In 2016, our family made a transition into the unknown. Our former purpose and identity was shaken in many ways. Anthony, the lamp creator, began working with random pieces of "junk" wood that he rescued from various places.
It quickly became a new outlet to discover new purpose. It may sound funny, but it was almost like the wood began speaking to him,. That his life still mattered. We all have purpose. And even if we feel thrown away, there's a second chance out there for us to discover new meaning.
He was finding new purpose and meaning through creating lamps and furniture from old, reclaimed wood and black pipe. Thus, began Genesis Design Co.
Through our handmade collections we hope to bring inspiration to your home, telling the story of new beginnings, new purpose and second chances.
